a fun sport for all the family. All ages welcome. Help available. No booking
required. £1 per person/group and you get a map of the Park to take
away. Tai Chi in the Park2.30-4pm Feel the flow, grace and harmony
as well as fitness which Tai Chi offers. Join in the workshop followed
by a Tai Chi performance. This activity is free and open to all. Booking

Canoe Club as they paddle from Merton Abbey Mills to the mouth of the

Hall Park with emphasis on the River Wandle. Looking at birds, fish, dragonflies
and more. Meet at Morden Cottage near the Snuff Mill. Ravensbury ParkFriends of Ravensbury Park Community Day10.30am-6pm Throughout the day: displays and information about Ravensbury Park; activities for children including scavenger hunt, tree trail, art workshop; kite flying in the meadow area of the park - bring your own kite. 2.30pm-4.30pm Guided walk to learn about the history of Ravensbury Park and the folklore and medicinal qualities of the local plants and trees. 5pm-6pm Teddy Bear Picnic Everyone welcome. Please bring a picnic, rug and teddy bear. Marquee will be by the old footbridge over the Wandle, off Wandle Rd and Morden Rd SM4. Printing & Eco-dyeing Workshop Learn how to print and dye
textiles using techniques practised by Liberty’s and William Morris
during the 19th century. River & Cloth celebrates the diverse textile
heritage of the Wandle Valley as well as the contributions made by refugee
workers. 11am-4pm Make it in clay and take
it away. Have fun making your own Treasure Island in clay with
the help of experienced potters. Free materials provided. All ages and

singing, the Colliers Wood Ukulele Orchestra will be playing, and you
can take part in tai chi and badminton, a nature trail and quiz. Wandle

Family workshops to design and make your own waterwheel using water to
generate electricity. Visit the Snuff Mill to find out about the work
