Mills

arts & crafts, food, heritage, theatre and music.
Morden
Hall Park (National Trust)
Morden Hall Park is a former deer park with a network of waterways. It
boasts historic mills and buildings dating from the 18th century as well
as craft workshops and gardens.
Take
Part, Take Pride
Monday 12-Sunday 18 July 2010. Sutton’s summer festival, when everyone
can take part and take pride in their local community.

Shopping Centre
Southside is sponsoring activities and helping promote the festival.
Wandsworth Environment Forum
Wansworth Environment Forum (WEF) is a voluntary association which brings together
residents and representatives of community groups to discuss their local environmental
concern and initiate positive actions.
Groundwork Merton
Groundwork have involved in various aspects of the Festival and have been involved
in its planning.
Museum
of London Archaeology Service
The Archaeology department of the Museum of London have provided archaeological
displays for the Festival at the Chapterhouse and some of its employees have
been very involved with the organisation of the Festival.
Thames 21
A community conservation organisation. It organises and provides support for
local groups to clean up stretches of the Thames and its tributaries. They have
organised clean-ups for the Festival.
Sustrans
National organisation promoting sustainable transport, in particular the
National Cycle Network, a network of quiet and off-road routes for cycling
and walking.
Wandsworth
Cycling Campaign
Wandsworth branch of the national network of cycle campaigns. WCC campaigns
on cycle related issues and promotes cycling. WCC are one of the organisers
of the cycle rides that take place during the Festival.
Sutton Cycling
Club
Sutton Cycling Club provides opportunities for young people under 18 to
cycle in safety under the supervision of experienced riders and coaches.

the Way to Health
A variety of guided healthy walks at venues all along the Wandle.
Wandle Industrial Museum
Museum of the Industrial Heritage of the Wandle. Members of the Museum have
been very much involved in the Festival's organisation. Much useful information
about the Wandle's heritage can be found here. The site includes a map of the
Wandle Trail and hosts a forum for discussion about the river.
The Ramblers
Local members of the Ramblers Association organise the walks that take place
along the Wandle during the Festival and have been involved in the general Festival
organisation.

Hill Cyclists
Local cycling group based in the Mitcham area.
Mole Valley Orienteering
Club
Mole Valley Orienteering Club is a friendly club open to people of all
ages and abilities. Orienteering is a sport which exercises both mind
and body. Events take place most weekends and often also during the week.

South London
Sport England funded organisation with the responsibility for raising
levels of involvement in sport and physical activity organises healthy
living and sports activities for the festival.
Honeywood Museum
Heritage centre based in 17th building by Carshalton Ponds.
Wandsworth Society
Forum for discussing and campaigning on issues that affect Wandsworth.
The Wandle Trust
An ecological charity committed to cleaning up the River Wandle, and organises
'Trout in the Classroom'.
Sutton
Ecology Centre
Sutton's centre for learning about nature and the environment.
Wandle Heritage
Wandle Heritage exists to promote education about and recreation around the
Wandle.
Deen City Farm
Deen City Farm is an urban farm near Merton Abbey Mills. Right on the banks
of the Wandle it provides an excellent day out for the family.
Wimbledon College
of Art
Wimbledon School of Art have been involved in providing artistic activities
for the Festival.
London Wildlife Trust
London Wildlife Trust is a gateway to the natural wonders of London. It coordinates
the activities of many local WIldlife Trust groups across the capital and provides
a wealth of information and activities to the public.
Battersea
Canoe Club
Battersea Canoeists take a trip down the river during the Festival.
Dick Philpot
Dick is a Wimbledon born and bred singer songwriter and a frequent live
performer . Dick sings what he describes as 'South London Folk' and many
of his song feature his growing up around the River Wandle.
Viv Philpot
Viv is a community artist, specialising in print, dye and stitch, and
is currently working with local schools and community groups providing
bespoke textile based workshops.

Hospital Charity
St George’s Hospital provides a range of general and specialist
services in South West London and beyond. The hospital is a leading national
centre for specialist care including neurology, cardiac care and cancer.
Money raised through St George's Hospital Charity supports and enhances
the services provided at St George’s for the benefit of patients,
visitors and staff.
Lifetime Tennis
Wandsworth and Putney
Provides tennis programs that encourage participation in the local community
for both children and adults.
Bat Conservation Trust
The Bat Conservation Trust is the only UK organisation solely devoted
to the conservation of bats and their habitats. Through the new Count
Bat project, BCT is looking to engage new and wider audiences in bat conservation.

The Friends is an independent organisation seeking to promote Beddington
and Grange parks for their heritage, wildlife and leisure amenities, and
to improve the provision of amenities and facilities in the Park either
through public funding, by public private partnership or fundraising.
